arkansas vs LSU

Normally the day after Thanksgiving has been the day for the best college football rivalry game. This game is ofcourse the Arkansas vs LSU game. The Hogs have won the game 3 years in a row looking for number 4. the 15th ranked tigers made sure that they would not lose to arkansas again. they came out blitzing Qb Mallett and made sure he was off balance when he threw the ball. He was under pressure most of the game. First play from scrimmage he threw an interception. on the following possession arkansas had to punt the ball. trindan Holliday ran it back for a touchdown. they were down 17-6 at the half. they came out and intercepted a pass from jefferson to start the third quarter. it grew to 17-13. we got another touchdown and it was 20-17. they went up again and then we scored again. with a few seconds left in the game we had a 30-27 lead. we should have won the game then. they came all the way down the field and with not very much time left on the clock they kicked the game tying field goal and sent the game into over time. LSU was on offense first we held them to a field goal and now it was our turn to try to win the game. we got to fourth down and tejada to try to tie the game. snap was good ball off and...................he hooked it to the right of the goal post and LSU held off arkansas and took the boot away for the first time in 3 years. but all in all it was a very good game. i am a razorback fan through and through. lets go hawgs win that bowl game that you are now in

drama on the school bus

on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 the Little Rock Hall High School cheerleaders were on there way to North Little Rock to cheer at a game. On the way there they had an altercation between two cheerleaders. They started cussing and everything else, we turned the bus around and they went back to school and dropped them off and then left to go to the game again. While waiting for the cheer sponsor to get on the bus a white boy by the name of ryan said i am going to get me a tazer and i am going to play shock a cheerleader the next time she wants to get crazy up on the bus to an athletic event. Anyways we got to NLR, just in time to cheer for the girls game. They were manhandled by the charging wildcats. Then the good game came up. it was definitely worth watching if you were a Hall High Fan. we took control of the game from the opening tip. they never once had time to try to come back and beat us. After not playing together as a team in the benefit game at FortSmith Northside the mighty hall warriors came together and played like a team in the first game of the season for a 62-47 win over the wildcats in wildcat arena. the warriors are headed to Illinois for a tournament over the thanksgiving break. anyways it is time that i go for this blog, but i will blog again and hopefully it will be full of laughs and giggles just like this blog has been.

arkansas vs troy

Saturday November 14, 2009 your Arkansas Razorbacks are hosting sunbelt conference Troy. Today is the last homegame at Razorback stadium for a couple of the hogs. Arkansas comes in with a 5-4 (2-4). troy comes into the game with a 7-2 (5-0). the game is in Fayetteville, Arkansas at 6:30. come on out arkansas fans and cheer on your razorbacks to victory

3A state playoffs suspended

There's a shake-up for one division of high school football playoffs in Arkansas.
The 3A playoffs, that were scheduled to start today, have been suspended by the Arkansas Activities Association.
The action follows a ruling Thursday night by Pope County Circuit Court Judge Gordon McCain, who granted an injunction to Lamar High School. The Warriors had sought the Circuit Court's help in appealing a decision by the association.
In that decision, the association's Executive Director Lance Taylor ruled that Lamar used an ineligible player in five of its 3A-4 conference games, and must forfeit its conference victories, allowing the Atkins Red Devils to take their place.
After the judge granted Lamar an injunction, the Arkansas Activities Association suspended the playoffs until further notice.That player, who is now ruled eligible, moved from Russellville to Lamar to live with his grandparents. His parents stayed behind in Russellville. The AAA said that was against the rules for eligibility, but the Pope County Circuit Judge disagreed.
That player moved due to threats against him in Russellville after a school bus altercation.

these two teams the oregon ducks and the iowa hawkeyes were just a few of the teams that were beaten saturday in upset saturday. the ducks were beaten by the stanford cardinals and the hawkeyes were beat by northwestern wildcats. these teams have had there chances for the championship erased from there team. Iowa was ranked 4 and oregon was 8. both lost to unranked teams and will drop big in the polls for this week in college football. in the polls this week oregon dropped to 13 and iowa dropped to 10.

arkansas vs southcarolina

arkansas vs southcarolina was a great game to continue the home stretch with. it had plenty of great plays by the razorbacks. The one play that i can say hurt me the most watching was the fake punt that we did and turned the ball over. but it was smooth sailing from there on out. the defense tightened up and the offense started to click and to move the ball down the field. Mallett had another outstanding ball game. his stats so far this season is 152-263 with 18 touchdowns and 3 interceptions and 2477 yards. He and the razorbacks look to up there stats as they take on Troy out of the SunBelt Conference.
